Let's start off with A levels
H2 Chemistry C
H2 Mathematics B
H2 Economics C
H1 Physics D
H1 GP D
H1 PW B

Took SAT 1: 2040 (CR 640, M 790, W 610)
ECs are normal

Do I stand any chance for oversea Uni in US?
I know I won't make it to top Unis. I'm a realistic guy.
I am talking about Pepperdine, LMU, USF, USD, Chapman, etc...
those private universities in California.
For UCs, I'm looking at UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz.

Is there hope to even apply at all?

Pepperdine should be no problem.
How's your o level scores? Why don't you apply to schools that are willing to admit based on o level like Purdue?

My O levels are average, mostly A1s with an exception of D7 in Art. (screwed up the coursework so bad)
But the thing is you need to use A levels if you have alr done it. It's not an option, the colleges want to see your most recent grades too.

Just go for it. CCA and accomplishments wise, how are you doing?

Alrite, im go for it. Although if no chance, i might as well be wasting money on application fees and DHL fees.

CCA-wise very average.
Got D7 in CCA in secondary school. Chinese calligraphy club. Never went there, only asked my friend to sign for me and got caught. But the colleges don't need to know this.
Played soccer in JC, only reached Q-Final stage and I wasn't even in the first team that time.
Couple of over-sea community services here and there.

But I once ordained as a monk in India for two weeks and did some community service so that might come in handy.

Not much accomplishment in academics department. Barely passing promos and prelims.
But once got best in subject during MYE in secondary school out of nowhere.

I know my A levels are bad. SAT isn't fantastic either. But my SAT scores are about 200 points higher than average scores for those colleges so kinda hoping there is chance. Then again, US colleges mostly care about schoolwork and our internal exams deflate our grades so damn bad.

Capitalise on your strengths. From your write up briefly, what catches my eye is the ordain as monk in India. Share your experiences in your essay...it is something special that few others can boast.
