Finished A levels. Aspiring to work on board ships as deck officer/pilot/captain. I have a placing in ntu maritime but that entails shore based office/warehouse jobs. From what i research, the path to in-ship jobs require a diploma/coc from sma or wmi.

Question now , is there no chance for A level grads to get in-ship based jobs like mentioned above? Apart from doing the diploma?

The career path is clear as you can see below. A level no chance of u seek a career. You need to spend some mths doing a diploma to learn how to operate a ship.
