Weird symbols appear

The apostrophe symbol does not seem to appear on the my final application forms. Instead, weird question marks appear. The same happens for double inverted commas and accented alphabets. Please solve this problem.

The problem appears if you copy from Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word has their own formatting and styles which the html cannot recognize. You can copy it to notepad first, then to the form. Usually it solves the problems.

Weird symbols like � still appear for apostrophe even when i ue notepad instead. how can i rectify this? I have also submitted an application without realising the mistake. Is it possible for me to change it?

If copying directly to notepad doesn't solve the problem, please save your Word file as plain text file. Usually there is a warning that saving as a text file will cause all formatting, pictures and objects in your file to be lost. Please check "Allow character substitution" in the warning box. After that, just open the text file in notepad and copy from there.
