Default Oversea medical school accreditation

For medical schools still undergoing accreditation by SMC, anyone knows how long the process is going to take? 2, 3 years? If the schools were recognised previously, would it be easier for them to be recognised again if they changed from mbbs to md?

I think it is safer to choose medical schools from the SMC approved list. Other routes may be dangerous in the sense that you may end up with a medical degree that cannot be registered in Singapore.
