Heya guys, me M1 this year going on M2. I got in via waitlist.

For all those still waiting, NUS called me on my phone around june-july period, while I was on the mrt. Said they had a vacancy and if I was interested, and gave me several days to make the decision.

By then I had already accepted NTU med and was already preparing for matriculation. (That very afternoon their enthusiatic and awesome orientation camp commitee pranked called me as part of their orientation activities, but sadly I had decided to go to NUS. )

So in conclusion to all those wondering,
No, your acceptance of any courses does not disqualify you from the NUS med waitlist.
Waitlists have the power to "pluck" you from whichever course you've already accepted.
