Question University of British Columbia

Is the University of British Columbia well regarded for studying law in ?
Are international career prospects good..?
What is the cost of living like in this area, I've heard for a year it could be $12k ?

Once again it's not accredited in sg and its a graduate program. No Bach degree cannot apply.

The cost of living is for 8-9mths iirc. Vancouver is higher, if I go to London or okanagen it's like 10k a yr.

International prospects as in where? USA? Canada? India? China?

Just for kicks, 7 international students were admitted in 2011 out of 180.

Question A Level Grades??

Hi I've recently taken an interest in studying at UBC as well, the Geography course in particular. Anyone knows what sort of grades can get me in, either in Geog, or any other courses? E.g. AAAA, AABB, BBBB, BBCC, etc?

And how does the personal profile segment of the online application work? What should I do to prep for it/write well?

Hi magster!

I came across this platform the other day when I was planning for my overseas studies called Flying Chalks. They help international students enhance their overseas studies experience like you can connect with friends that are going to the same university that you are going to and you can also ask for some advice from those who have been to that university. You can check out their website at www.flyingchalks.com or you can visit their Facebook Page here!

As far as I know, they have quite a few guides on universities in Canada such as UBC and HEC montreal that provide information about accommodation, flights, food outlets, leisure activities, and even comprehensive information about the university and the country you are heading to! Hope this helps!!
