Default query to do MS in Australia

hi..........

i will take my ielts exams in june 2009.

Mainly I want details about conditions to get a part time job there. I mean are the jobs available there or i has to wait for 2 to 3 months to get a part time job like in UK.

my colleagues, friends, and relatives said that its not better to go now. Because there are no part time jobs available now, they also said, I have to wait for about 3 months while studying to get a part time job after going there.

so i want details about colleges in AUStralia to study masters.

I had done my B.Tech - Electronics and communication Engineering and passed out in 2008. Now i have two back logs which would complete in month of april 2009. and my B.tech percentage is 53%.

So, If I get ielts score of 6 or 6.5 or 7.0 or more, What are the countries i can try. and what is the specialised course i can take. (please specify all the countries clearly. and also the courses)
im interested taking course realted to "Electronics and communication".

With the current poor Econ and the cut back on PRs. I doubt its easy looking for part time job today.

I don't think there is a waiting period restriction. Is more of the fact that U can possibly find a job on day 1 and begin working on day 2. Thats the reason why ppl say need to wait for 2-3mths to get part time job. The time here is spend on job hunting.

its easy finding info on International student and Work
eg:
http://www.uq.edu.au/study/index.html?page=17548&pid=

Where did U do your B.tech which Uni or what system? Is your B.Tech is a honors program?
whats 53% translate to? B avg or 2nd upper class?

U are looking for alot of spoonfeeding? Isn't that too much to ask for a prospective Graduate student?
I reckon U are looking for a coursework degree, nothing research.

specialization all depends on your interest. Are U looking for any Masters so long U can get in?

just do IELTS, U can only try Uni that don't care about GRE!! LOL
countries like Canada/UK/NZ..

thanks for ur replies.

I got some main info from u. Since I dint have sufficient info I made a former query on internet.

and I cant understand below lines clearly.Do they mean " I'll get job on first day or i have to wait for 2-3 months" . please say clearly.

Is more of the fact that U can possibly find a job on day 1 and begin working on day 2. Thats the reason why ppl say need to wait for 2-3mths to get part time job.

Here 53% is my undergraduate(B.tech) percent for total course i.e 2004-2008

I had completed my B.tech in 2008 with two backlogs which would be completed soon.

Did I write that? Your paraphrase me making me more confuse!
I meant, when U grad U don't expect to find a job and be working in the 1st 1 week. Factor in the time U need to get your resume out, interviews etc. Unless U thinking to be waiter or dish cleaner, that U can get hired immed.

U don't get it do u? or U choose not to review where U did your degree (uni and country)
with backlogs, I reckon 53% isn't good to begin with. U can try go OZ to do postgrad Dip then Masters.

You will have problems getting a well paying part time job in Australia. Indian qualifications are not looked upon favorably except if you are a doctor from a list of preselected Indian Universities.

Don't come to Australia unless you can secure your finances because you will most unfortunately be at risk of exploitation.
