Most of the top ranked uni below do not offer masters degree
http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsa...omics-rankings

The few which does
http://econ.duke.edu/masters-programs
https://www.utexas.edu/cola/depts/ec...rs/program.php

You might as well go for phd and save the money, why spend on masters.

MBA still long way, Grad work 3-5 yrs then say

Local uni good option just focus on getting 1.1 or 2.1

Why not just study econs locally if that's what you like doing?

You cant run away from competition all the time. Once you grad, these people will still be there competing with you for jobs/postgrad as well.

IMO, local universities are not as stressful as people make it out to be. If you study what you truly love, how can it ever be stressful? If you really like what you study, studying stops being a chore and becomes something you look forward to doing.

Grad school (North America term for postgrad) - includes master and phd
Master = grad school
Grad = Master
Kind of like square and rectangle reasoning

Yes it's possible as long as you have good grades, 2.1 or better.
Going for phd best do some undergrad research
