yeah true true. However, judging from your stellar a level and SAT results and the type of universities you applied for, there's a much higher probability that you graduated from HCI (:

Universities admitted :

UK: Oxford (PPE), Warwick (Econs, Politics and Int'l Studies)
US: Princeton, Chicago, Duke, Cornell, Northwestern

Universities waitlisted:

US: Penn (just staying on it for the fun of it)

Universities rejected:

UK: LSE (Econs), UCL (Econs) - no surprise here given my personal statement was not on pure econs but PPE
US: Yale, Columbia (not at all surprised, given the sub-10 acceptance rates)

School: Not in Bukit Timah

A-Levels: H2 (AAAA) GP (A) PW (A) MT (A1) H3 (Merit).
SAT I (2250) (shows that you don't need 2400 or anything within 100 points of that to get a good US uni)
SAT II (2400).

Wow, those are really great universities you've been accepted into. Congrats!

Default UK Application

Universities offered (course): University of Manchester (MPharm), The School of Pharmacy|University of London (MPharm), University College London (Medicinal Chemistry)
Universities rejected: King's College London (MPharm)
School: Temasek JC
A-level results: AAAA (H2-PCML), CC (GP/PW), B (H1-CL)

I accepted The School of Pharmacy. Imperial College (Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry) hadn't give me their decision then. KCL rejected me because - according to them - I submitted my UCAS application too late.

A Chemistry tutor from UCL conducted the 'interview' via email. He asked me several Chemistry-related questions such as...

1. Why is a molecule like carotene coloured?
2. Consider the reaction of ethene and hydrogen bromide. What are the
products? What kind of reaction is this?
3. I have two beakers of water, one at room temperature, the other at 50oC.
Do you expect their pH to be the same or different? Why?

I hope this helps.
