Default NUS Real Estate

Can any senior from NUS Real Estate tell me more about this course?
1. What do we really study?
2. What are the career prospects for this course?

I'm not from Real Estate, but I can give this info:

The MOE ecareers website has this to say about Real Estate:
Quote:
A program that prepares individuals to develop, buy, sell, appraise, and manage real property. Includes instruction in land use development policy, real estate law, real estate marketing procedures, agency management, brokerage, property inspection and appraisal, real estate investing, leased and rental properties, commercial real estate, and property management.
Basically, for what you study, it goes something like:
Quote:
Real Estate Finance and Investment:

* Economic and financial theories
* Real estate investment and financing decisions
* International real estate

Real Estate Development and Management:

* Dynamics of the property development process
* Real Estate valuation
* Real Estate Law

Urban Policy and Urban Planning:

* Planning theories and techniques
* Public policies and real estate markets
* Regional real estate sectoral markets
(from here.)
And Job Options (from the ecareers website):
Quote:
Land/Estate Managers
Property Managers
Real Estate Agents
Town Planners
Valuers
They (the MOE) mark property managers as a "job in demand", so it's really up to you.

Btw, moved your thread to a more appropriate forum.

Are you serious? Your grade can get you to biz or other better courses! No doubt about that!

Real estate is a.... No offence but not really popular....

The only reason is maybe it's because real estate not enough applicants so they pulled you over...

Sad case....
