hi admin, sorry for this somewhat irrelevant post.. you may remove it if you deem it inappropriate.
my friends initiated this fundraising project titled Project Gift Love 2016 to raise funds for ComChest. Project Gift Love is organized in collaboration with SingYouth Hub, a non-profit organisation that supports youth development and social engagement in Singapore.
We are currently looking for volunteers who are keen to make a difference to the community and raise as much funds as possible to support ComChest's initiatives! We hope you can join us.
About Community Chest:
Community Chest was established in 1983 with a simple yet vital mission: to raise funds for the nation’s many social service organisations. It is about raising funds from the community for the community in need.
Social service organisations supported by Community Chest are then able to do what they are best at – providing critical social service programmes to help children with special needs, people with disabilities, frail and lonely seniors and families facing difficulties.

This is a pay-as-you-wish gift wrapping service. By donating a suggested amount based on various sizes, customers can get their gifts wrapped on the spot. For customers that are in a hurry, pre-assembled gift wraps will also be available for purchase.
Facilitators: Volunteers are required to facilitate the crowd by taking down their particulars and informing them once their items are ready for collection. It is also important that facilitators verify with the customers that their items tally before and after the collection to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Gift-wrappers: Volunteers are required to gift wrap the items. A compulsory training workshop is to be attended by all volunteers (see below for details). Gift wraps will be provided by the mall or the customers. Customers are encouraged to purchase the gift wraps from shops within the mall should they want their items wrapped in a different design.
Above all, we ask that volunteers adopt a cheerful and bubbly attitude and be proactive in encouraging shoppers to donate more to our cause. As we will be facing customers at our booth, it is important for volunteers to focus on serving the shoppers well.
Christmas hat, Pokka/Ribena drink, food voucher and CIP/VIA hours will be awarded.
