Default Which overseas study agent is better for AUS / UK degree studies?

I am trying to explore more options other than local universities and would like to know if I wanted to apply to an overseas uni, which agent would be better? (Less hassle, less cost, etc)

Saw a few popular ones like IDP, AUG, Jackstudyabroad but don't know which is better.

Please help!

Default Business degree in Australia. ANU or Uni of Melb?

I have a diploma in Information & Communication Design (mass comm) - GPA 3.7 & would like to pursue a business degree.

Few choices:
ANU: International Business
ANU: Commerce
Uni of Melb: Commerce

Any of you taking any of these right now? Is it good or very difficult (cause my maths isn't very good but saw the modules online that there are not many maths module in these degrees

Which one is better?

& will it be easy to get a scholarship?

Going thru IDP is best if you want to head to OZ.
then again, if you cannot even overcome the hassle of application can you handle the hassle of relocating? you need to learn how to select classes, b4 that U have to find apartment, read and comprehend rental agreement, cook and clean etc. Alot of hassle which comes after than. I would say the 1st step is the easiest yet the hardest. if you are prepared mentally the application part is the easiest.

Cost wise, iirc IDP is FREE!

3.7 no way to get scholarship award.
The UNSW golden jubilee needs like 3.9 or better iirc.

UofMelb may have a better Business program.
USDY also better Biz program.
ANU typically better in Econs.

coming from Mass Comm I dont see you will be getting any exemptions. Only for related diploma.

Since you are asking for scholarship award I gather cost is a concern?
ANU should be cheaper, note all business degree in OZ are no direct honors program.

2015 ANU tuition is est ~AUD$34k + aud$19k for living.
http://www.anu.edu.au/students/progr...l-student-fees

2015 UofMleb est ~aud$35k + aud$20K
http://futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au...l/subject-fees

note if U choose to read honors that is extra cost, then again in OZ you can go with Masters without a Honors degree. However if you choose to reach Masters in other countries you maybe put in a slight disadv.

UK namely England and Wales offer 3 yr direct honors.
ie
Bath £14,300 + £5,243 (38 week est) is like aud$39K a yr.
http://www.bath.ac.uk/study/ug/fees/

Warwick £20,180 + ~£6k (38 week est)
http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/i...sions/finance/

--------------------

if you wish to step outside the box of OZ and UK. U can look at Canada. some idea on cost with the better unis.
(good thing is you may get half a yr worth of exemptions but require some work)

Queen's cad$36k + ~cad$13k or aud$52K
http://www.queensu.ca/registrar/site...15_UG_Intl.pdf
http://www.queensu.ca/studentawards/costs

Mcgill ~cad$35k + cad$14K
http://www.mcgill.ca/student-account...rgraduate-fees

UBC ~cad$47K total
http://you.ubc.ca/tuition-scholarshi...st-calculator/
http://youniversityhub.com/best-busi...ols-in-canada/

finally if U wish to save more money, U can enter community college and transfer to the Bschool in Canada or USA. maybe more work than u like but U maybe look at saving cad$40k to go that route. Canada you 3yr work VISA if you wish to stay for a little today.

--------------
these may not be viable options for U and one you to become more independent
U may want to check out road less traveled.

or read

note there are great Uni there such as Aalto and cost wise ~sgd$12K a yr or total of under sgd$50k

Sorry, all the agents are free of charge, not just IDP.

Jackstudy do not represent both ANU or University of Melbourne. They are not authorized agents

did you not apply to other schools?
I would have recommended UNSW or USyd.

I guess you can always check out educational fairs in Singapore. What with application season coming soon, I think there'll be quite a lot of them. You can always ask the uni reps or education counselors there about sources of finance, estimated living expenses + tuition fees, and get their opinion on the matter.
