Unhappy

Hi guys! I just did my As last year in 2015, and results are coming out soon, but i know i'll do badly (failing is even possible). I've never really struggled in JC, i've always worked hard consistently, but the only mistake i made was not being able to handle my excessive stress, which caused me to screw up a lot of my papers.

I'm 100% sure I want to get a healthcare job, and nursing is my top choice as well! Can I ask if you guys know of anyone who got into NUS nursing below the IGP CCC/B? Is there a chance that they will consider a strong passion over results?

Or else I'm thinking whether i should go back to poly for nursing ): please help me out!

Well, I'm went in through the poly route. I had a gpa of 3.30 which was well below the IGP of 3.42 in an unrelated discipline(engineering) and eventually got in. Granted I screwed up my interview because I was so nervous, but I wrote in to professors and got MP write letter also during the appeal stage which might have helped.

Anyway just apply, never try never know hope to see u there this year!

Default year 1 timetable?

Hey there.

Any year 1 NUS nursing students to share what is the timetable (how many hours a day? How many times a week?) like for the 1st semester?

Also, your experiences so far as well.

Would be nice to know. Thanks.

Hi! I am not a nursing student, but i took A levels last year and will be matriculating into nursing this year I talked to my senior who is year 1 NUS nursing a few weeks back, and she shared that our timetable will be similar to the one provided in the NUS website.

However, we have clinical attachments during our vacation period. For semester 1, our attachment is from 5 Dec to 19 Dec. So avoid going overseas during this period

She is enjoying her time in nursing a lot - could see from her frequent postings on facebook.

Interested to know, who else is going into nursing this year! Hope to get to know you guys soon

hello, my grades are ccc/b and I put nursing as my second choice. Does anyone know what my chances are of getting in this year, 2017?
