Yep! Thanks, I feel the same way too. CE strongly appeals to me and I'm heavily inclined towards it because it brings together Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, however does that mean that CE graduates are less specialised compared to EE graduates? I have this weird view that EE students can do everything that involves electricity and circuits while CE students are restricted to computers only.

Also, NUS EE is ranked 6th in the QS World University Rankings by subject while there isn't a rank for CE, though CS is 9th. Hence it's difficult to give a comparison between CE and EE based on rankings.

Don't get me wrong, I would prefer studying CE over EE but I'm just unsure if CE is indeed more restrictive than EE.

Default NUS Electrical eng can work in electronics industry?

Hi guys can anyone tell me the difference between EE and EEE in NUS and NTU?

I'm very concern to know if a degree in Electrical Engg can work in an Electronics industry? Becus EEE sounds more employable in both electrical and electronic industry IMO.. Not sure if EE is as employable as EEE?

I have been offered NUS EE and NTU EEE, so I'm not sure which one to accept. Any advise pleaseeeee?
Thanks in advance!

Hi anyone has their application process for NUS. Chemical engineering especially. My RP 0.5 short from their COP and I forget to fill in DA. Is that why my application has been only in received status since 8 march

Between systems n mechanical engineering, I would suggest systems engg.
mechanical engg very sian one leh, especially for female. you gotta wear those ugly overalls, work in hot and dirty places, and it's also physically demanding.

Im stuck in this god forsaken industry now that's y I know. It sucks.

I not sure about the job prospects of systems engg though.
I would stay away from engineering if I had the choice.

Lol Actually i place an impossible choice as first choice. But so my second choice is chemical engineering which I am really targeting at. Actually my H2 is AAAB is only GP that is not very well done that pull me down to 0.5. My next choice is Business management.

although they say that your order of choices won't affect your chances of competing with other applicants, but a lot of seniors say that if u put 2nd choice u will be disadvantaged cus they will admit all the ppl eligible who put that course as 1st choice..

so it's wise to not waste ur 1st choice..

I put Chemical Engineering as my second choice, and I wasn't shortlisted for my first. When can I expect to get an offer for chem eng? Thanks!
