If you can, best to call them up during office hours or go in person. it's faster this way, than emails.

I know it may sound strange to ask it here but can any seniors further explain the tutorial balloting?I think I quite stupid but the whole thing like quite confusing...

I understand you choose like the tutorial slot you die die wan as first...den got some tell me you put like your most ideal tutorial slots for the first 5 choices and the first 5 choices should be different mods...for eg;

South asian: either mon 2 to 4,tues 12 to 2 or mon 10 to 12
History: either thurs 1 to 2,fri 3 to 4 or thurs 3 to 4
Econs: either tues 2 to 3,mon 2 to 3 or thurs 1 to 2
New Media: tues 1 to 2,tues 3 to 4 or tues 6 to 7

and say the first timings are my most ideal...

my choices from 1-4 could be:
1. south asian mon 2-4
2. econs tues 2-3
3. history thurs 1-2
4. new media tues 1-2

and my 5-8 choices will be:
5. south asian tues 12-2
6. econs mon 2-3
7. history fri 3-4
8. new media tues 3-4

and etc for my 9-12 choices...is this a workable tactics?

I've got some telling me larger cohorts's modules are harder to get for tutorials and less popular mods easier to get(like south asian and history) so I should put like econs tutorials first, but I got history tutorials only from wed to fri and I've got my free day on wed for now...so should I put it as my first choice...also,my south asian is like 2 hrs(odd and even) and the timing also quite cuckoo at times...

Also, isit possible like u plan for 3 different timetables then somehow you got like 3 mods from top 5 den 2 mods from say,6-10 den somehow one of the mod timing from the top 5 and 1 mod from the 6-10 clashes?I mean isit possible for such stuff to happen?

Hey, guys...

Imma a freshmen matriculating this year into the ESP programme.

I may be a little kanchiong but please do help answer my question...
How to know what are the modules I must take before graduation? And whether I must take them in Year 1 Sem 1?
How does the curriculum works? I understand I may have to take several modules, but do I choose the modules over 4 years as I like? or is there any sequence? (Like specific modules must be taken in specific year of study)?

I'm totally @[email protected] about the modules system.

Hi all

I'm not sure whether this is the right thread to post so I apologized in advance if it's not. So here it goes...

I'm quite confuse with all the requirement fulfill in order to graduate. What are the meanings of the following term:
1. university requirement
2. faculty requirement
3. major requirement
4. unrestricted elective modules
and also I've heard of GEM, SS, and breadth modules...what are they actually?

And lastly when is it advisable to take minor? and what are the requirements?

Thank you
