Question Medical Schools (Overseas)

Hi,

I am interested in studying medicine. Is there any overseas universities that offer undergraduate medicine at an affordable rate for students from middle income families?

Thanks in advance,

Alexender

What do you mean by "affordable rate"?

most UK universities excluding Imperial college, oxbridge and UOL. estimated 100-120k pounds for 5 years.

Ireland and Australia are expensive.

Ireland is 33000 euros/annum. australia is around 42000 oz dollars/annum, 6years.

your best bet is still NUS. but if that fails, you've gotta look at UK first i guess. just like me.

Helo Hari (THAT'S RIGHT I KNOW ITS YOU!)

anyway you might want to take a look at this to see the list of schools and undergrad medical courses the singapore medical council approves of.

and also be prepared to spend big bucks to study overseas; which is why i chose to stay at NUS law school instead of the UK ones. Probably would consider going overseas for graduate studies instead.

CHEERS!!

Hmm... try Aberdeen! It's one of the cheaper ones already I think.

Anyway, the average costs of doing med is close to 25k pounds a year? So be prepared to fork out close to half a million S$ for a 5 year course .. :X
