Default Looking for Interns

We are looking for high calibre candidates to join our (HR / Supplier Management / Accounts / Engineering) teams on a 5-6 months Internship Program effectively from July 2015.

1) HR Intern
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to support day-to-day HR related projects in relations to Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and/ or Compensation and Benefit.
• Talent Acquisition: To research and present creative ways to build university relations and attract new generation graduates.
• Talent Development: To migrate learning participation to the new Learning Management System and support learning development projects.
• Compensation and Benefit: To support payroll administration, tax matters and salary review exercise.

2) Supplier Management
Responsibilities:
• Support strategic sourcing team in formulating and implementing strategies to create competitive advantage and manage supplier base
• Carry out tactical sourcing to support Supplier Management operation in Singapore
• Work with strategic partner to carry out tactical purchasing in Singapore
• Deal with suppliers on day-to-day basis
• Engage with internal stake holders to support their requirement
• Support global process and master data compliance requirements

3) Accounting
Responsibilities:
• Follow up Supplier invoices
• Provide support the Finance - Accounts Payable function
• Simple accounting coding and posting
• Clearing Good Received & Invoice Received accounts
• Administration work – filling
• Undertake any other projects as assigned by supervisor

4) Engineering
During this internship program, you will assign several projects associated with one of our core manufacturing process in Slitting. You will work on assignments to learn and contribute to the project outcome and be supported with a development framework to give you the right platform to perform and network.
Responsibilities:
•Establish and maintain process control systems
•Ensure quality compliance and order fulfilment
•Prepare progressive reports
•Initiate, drive and participate in TPM activities to drive for continuous improvement
•Collect and analyse data



Desired qualifications / requirements:
• Completing or completed University Education with Good Degree
• A balanced profile with strong non-academic curriculum interest / CCA
• Good positive attitude, resourceful and agile thinking
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Ability to influence stake holders internally and externally
• Mastery in Microsoft Excel application is an added advantage
