Please kindly state what your program entails, and whether such a program requires its participants to make payment.

Please comply within 3 days, or I will treat this as a commercial advertisement and remove it.

Default Mentorship & Scholastic Programme

Dear Ashearo,

The steps for the programme are as follows:

Step 1: Email us & let us know the course of study you are interested in.

Step 2: We will check how many students we have set up with mentors this year to determine availability. If available, we will request for a CV & send you an application form.

Step 3: We will place the student in touch with the mentor. We will also determine non academic areas of weakness such as lack of leadership positions & make recommendations to change that.

This process is at no charge. However, we do want to be clear that any expenses eg transportation & printing cost that may be required as part of the project with the mentor will be borne by the student.

We also want to emphasize that since a lot of the work is voluntary, places are limited as with most job shadow & mentorship programmes.

Best wishes,

Medlaw Mentors

Default Job Shadow, Mentorship & Scholastic Programme

Dear Students,

First a big thank you for those who have approached us for help in improving your chances in your university or scholarship applications.

We have had feedback that many are a little sceptical that we are truly providing this service for free.

It is true. There are 2 main intentions for us in doing this:

1. The various practices/ clinic involved in this project hope that this will increase their visibility and generate word of mouth advertising for them. Students are much better in spreading word through social media than your possible mentors, many who are well into their 30s / 40s.

2. For many of the doctors offering mentorship, part of the programme is to undertake a project that will have a positive bearing on the community. It is an avenue to give back, in spite of their busy schedule, by teaming up with students.

So do contact us at [email protected]

Regards,

Medlaw Mentors

Update

Our Head of the Legal Mentorship Programme will be moving to Shanghai at the end of the year.

As such, the legal programme will not be accepting new students prior to us finding a suitable replacement. This will however not affect current students as the timeline for application is prior to his transfer overseas.

The medicine, veterinary as well as dentistry programmes are unaffected.

Once again, please direct your enquiries to [email protected].

Best regards,

Medlaw Mentors
