http://www.healthcareers.sg/

I thought this website might have the info, but I did a quick browse through and they don't seem too. Nonetheless, excellent info if you are considering a career in healthcare.

I doubt so. Most specialists don't even earn that much.

600k SGD per year? Impossible. 50k SGD per month for doing a radiographer's job is way too much. Private surgeons earn ~20-30k SGD per month. Radiographers usually work in the government sector, and if there is a private radiographer (im not sure why would anyone wanna do that), he would have to charge outrageous amounts in order to make that kind of money.

Wait wait. A radiographer is NOT the same as a radiologist. A radiologist is a medical specialist (ie a doctor) whereas a radiographer is a basically an allied health professional working the technical aspects of the radiography equipment. Basically the radiographer takes the radiograph and the radiologist interpretes it.

A radiologist in private practice could possiby earn a lot, and yes there would definitely be radiologists in private practice - if not how those private hospitals operate? 600k a year sounds a pretty hefty amount though, but never doubt what these doctors can earn.

An experienced private surgeon definitely earns more than 20-30k lol trust me on that Maybe 3-4 times that amount and you will hovering close haha.

20-30k is a rough average estimate. Of course experienced surgeons will earn more. But it will only apply to a discrete few, which won't really reflect the market very well.

about the pay of a radiation therapist or radiographer, it will definitely commensurate with the level of your expertise and degree. I would say the pay would be similiar to that of other allied health professionals like nurses. Although i cant really say for sure, but i think the starting pay will be about the range of 1.5-2k for a diploma qualified personnel, and 2+k for a degree qualified one.

All those who are in private practice are already all very qualified specialists. i can bet that all of them have a starting salary of at least double that amount even at the level of the least experienced.
