Default NUS Appeals Thread

my single degree choices are, 1) business, 2) law and 3) FASS.

I applied for law and business as a double degree, but did not get it. I would like to get into FASS now, but I'm not sure if that is possible, because it would seem likely that I would get into business.

Would I be able to get into FASS through the appeal if I meet the grade requirements?

Thankss

Hi all! I have been given my 2nd choice by nus. I would like to ask about the chances of me appealing from my 2nd choice to my 1st choice (business). Pls help me. Thank you!

Hi! I have another question. If I am given my second choice in nus, what are my chances of appealing for my third choice (FASS)? Thanks for your help!

What are your grades and what was your second choice?

Unless you feel that Bizad has missed out something significant in the process of your application, chances are not very high. Especially if your second choice isn't too close to Bizad.

However, perhaps after applicant's have responded and rejected their offers there will be places available. You may be given a chance should you stand out from the pool of appeals. Haha you probably knew that.

Bottomline is, you don't stand to lose ANYTHING by trying. So yea, just whack. Blessed appealing!

no harm trying right, no matter how seemingly impossible? You may get in by grace. And then at least you know you've tried.

loysy, you're right. indeed no harm trying. but i'm actually also considering about appealing to my third choice which is FASS. will i stand a higher chance if i do that instead of appealing to business?

hi, i heard that if appealing downwards might be easier than appealing upwards. ie. if you got your first choice but you want to appeal for your second, you MIGHT be able to get it easier compared to appealing for your first choice if you got your second.

but hey, it's all hearsay. give it a shot anyhow!

ps. when you appeal, do they still look at your grades or does it depend more on your CCAs and leadership experience etc.?
