Default where should I go?

I got offer from King's College London (econs) and University of Manchester (econs).

Currently waiting for response from nus and smu.

Assume that i got into both nus and smu but the courses are not my first choice, should I go to those uk unis?

Which uk uni is more recognised and better?

If I were you I would definitely go UK without second thought, I love UK.

But that's up to you, your own preference.

better reputation in singapore, and internationally - if that matters to you.
it doesn't help that uniman has a distance learning program at SIM in singapore (even though it isn't for econs, it does somehow affect the brand name in general).

When one claim it's better reputation here means what?
- better reputation as a whole means when one ask any ppl on the street?
- better when one ask HR, hiring managers in finance or in banking?
- having Distance learning cause a drop in reputation?
- internationally better? UK forum seem to rate KCL and Manchester same same in Econ. Since UK viewed it differently one meant outside sg and UK? Well usa I am sure they both same same no diff. So it's HK? Thailand? Australia?
- how far can reputation goes? All else equal even personality they choose a kings grade? If all else kings inferior to manchester they still pick a kings grad?

TS
While it's important to select a uni which is know it's just as important to select one which fits you. You understand if u cannot speak intelligently in an interview your uni reputation is just destroyed by you.

- a certain renowned prof who you wish to learn under?
- a strong research group which allows you to dive deeper into your interest?
- small class size allowing you to interact
- location of uni
- international studen groups etc
- career fair or networking if you wish to stay in UK

Etc etc I am sure you can think of more factors to narrow down your decision
