Red face Early graduation from local polytechnic (with letter of offer from university)

Hi, just wondering if anyone has heard of anything regarding "expediting" the date of graduation/course completion in a local polytechnic..

I am currently a second year student in Singapore Polytechnic, and am supposed to complete my course in April 2016. Recently, I participated in an audition that was organised by my school and received an advance-standing offer into year 2 from that university! It is a UK university so they start their term in September.. My admission (if I would to take up the offer) would be in September 2015.. around the period where I should be in the second half of my final year in SP.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this? I have heard things like "absence with grace", which basically means that as long as I complete all the assignments beforehand and submit before my departure from SG, I can still attain my diploma from SP. I might have to fly back just to sit for the final papers or to do some presentations, but my course is largely based on coursework so it shouldn't be too much to handle on my side.

I really don't want to miss this offer, but neither do I want to "drop out" of SP.. It would be best if I could still officially finish my diploma here. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!!
