Hmm...I'm interested in doing Environmental Engineering next year and would like to know more about it. Anyone has anything to share? (like...what you study, internship experience, etc)

Default Chem eng VS Environmental eng

Actually, i am quite torn betw chem end and environ. eng. I dunno really understand both eng very well and cannot make a choice on what i wan to take in uni. Seeing my my friends all quite confirmed on what they wan to take, i really felt very troubled. can someone advise me on what this two courses is about??

I am not exactly very knowledgeable about these two, but I believe chemical engineering is geared towards the utilization of raw materials, converting them into products (old or new). Environmental engineering is about improving the environment, alternative energy and etc. Chemical engineering does the opposite of what Environmental engineering does. To a certain extent.

in my opinion electrical engineering has more flexibility.. but for engineering students, it should be quite flexible for alot of jobs. regardless of what type of engineer you are.
