Default Local Singaporeans Interning at Expat companies?

I will be interning at an expat magazine this coming summer holidays. I am the only local in the company and the only intern as well. I'm worried it will be a culture shock and pretty intimidating, especially as this is my first time doing an internship May I ask if there are any local Singaporeans who have similar experiences doing an internship for an expat community in Singapore? I tried to google but I didn't get any results, I think it's quite uncommon. The only thing which came up was the other way round, expats trying to get internships in Singapore because it's very hard. (Wonder why they hired me instead of an expat intern haha) Would really appreciate any input or opinions! Thank you very much
