I think Banking and Finance would be a nice course to take up. Everything is in figures

Looks like the job market is not so hot for those who are interested in arts and humanities- only teaching seems to be a viable option (and it doesn't pay that well, although of course there are some exceptions) and law as well.

Interested to know, what can people who major in arts and social sciences look towards as career paths in Singapore? And which of these careers will be 'recession-proof'?

Haha I was hoping that nobody would look up my different posts on the different threads :P

I'm currently an Arts student, so I'm interested in the arts and humanities in general and related courses like Law. Design is just something I picked up recently.

you could work in the civil service. relatively recession-proof and some positions do not really require a specific/professional degree

hi, i found this very useful site that actually provides first hand job reviews!

they provide salaries of the different professions in Singapore too!

i am a graduate-to-be and its really useful and informative as i read up on my desired professions!
