Smile Need help: study in Oz uni, UQ or UWA

hi guys, i need some extra feedback regarding which australian uni to choose. If can get feedback from those who have already studied there, would be much appreciated as well. I am planning to take ba of arts (psychology) in either UQ or UWA. have some questions to ask:

1. to choose UQ or UWA?

2. what is the studying environment like in both uni?

3. which uni offer a better student life?

4. are there many singaporeans in UQ/UWA?

5. Also want to know is a ba of arts (psy.) or ba of psychology better? Would there be a difference in terms of employability in future?

Any opinions/feedback is much appreciated! Tq!

according to some forumers UNSW, University of Sydney, and University of Queensland are by far the top 3 departments of psychology in OZ.

UQ by far has more singaporean than UWA, UQ offer more exemptions and has lower GPA requirement for Poly Dip holders.

Ans to Qns 4: the difference in title no diff in SG.

U should check out their facebook page and ping those current reading psych there to paint you a pic. few ppl out there have attended both Uni to provide U with an accurate ans.

given the below data, not hard to find over 100 students in the GO8 uni. more popular Uni 500-1000 Singaporean is no uncommon.

Note: If U are planning on postgrad in OZ, no issue here. if U are planning on going to UK/Canada/USA U will have to finish your honors degree just to be safe.

This is a email from a renown UK Uni Admission office

Unfortunately, after liaising with the university’s International Office, they confirmed that for three years of study we will only be able to consider applicants who have studied in one of the G8 institutes of Australia and have achieved no less than a ‘High Distinction’. Percentage wise, this will be 80% minimum. If you had studied for four years, we would have been able to consider you for an offer.
