Default NTU Sports Sciene & Management

hello...juz wanted to gather more opinions regardin tis course in NTU...heard its relatively new and i was juz wonderin if the career prospects are actually as good as they mention on their official website...was also wonderin wad are de cut-off points for tis course cos it cant be found in the "AY2008 Grade Profiles" tat was released...can anyone give me more details about tis course??

It is completely new, not just relatively new. For information on career prospects I suggest you speak to SSC. They probably have the most knowledge about our sports industry.

so am im correct if i say that the AY09/10 batch will be this programme's first batch?im realli considerin tis course cos my results arent fantastic and there are onli a few courses to choose from..furthermore im quite interested in the tis area....anyway thx for de quick reply!

Yes, those entering NTU this August and doing this course will be the first batch going through the programme. According to NTU/SSM FAQ, it is stated that the proposal is for this degree to be launched in August 2009 so it doesn't seem to be cast in stone yet.

HI! I was offered a place in NTU Sport Science Mgmt on 30/04/09. I got ABB/A gp E ,MT: A ,PW:A. Hope this helps! Still considering whether i shud take this course. It's a new course, no one really knows how its like!need some advice yeah. D

I have also been offered a place in NTU SSM, considering between NUS real estate and that. As I did my diploma in sports science, I am also rather negative about the job prospect. But doesnt look like real estate is any much better lol

damn, I just got my letter today.. and I didn't get into SSM got into my third choice which was mech eng. you guys are lucky... treasure it!!

Math - A
Physics - B
Chemistry - D
GP - B3.

I don't belong in the H1H2 syllabus.

oh wow. the cut off must be quite high then. my friend did a lot worse...
